Survivors can also bond with other wildlife, such as the Ulfen, a creature often described as a space bull. Assassin's Creed Valhalla places players in the role of Eivor, a mighty Viking warrior. Even though Eivor is a formidable combatant, the adventure never feels lonely. Players can play fetch with him, take him on walks, or bring him along for drives around Los Santos. Chop may attack the occasional pedestrian who causes trouble for Franklin, but his main purpose is to be an adorable companion.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales includes a rare and charming house cat named Spider-Man. The feline is named after Peter Parker's version of the hero, which can lead to some amusing confusion. The cat first appears when Miles saves it from cat thieves and returns it to its owner. Later, the cat returns wearing an adorable Spidey mask. With the Bodega Cat costume, Miles can carry the cat around in his backpack, making the animal feel like a genuine pet and a sidekick at the same time.
